What is a peer-to-peer advocate?inclindThe peer-to-peer model creates a culture and environment of immediate support by allowing those impacted by Domestic Violence to speak to a fellow peer who has also known the impact of Domestic Violence. This model creates a bridge over the shame and stigma of Domestic Violence and encourages understanding and compassion.
What counties do you serve?inclindWe serve Sussex County. However, contact us for referrals or additional resources for your location.
Do you allow pets in transitional housing?inclindNo. Pets are not allowed in transitional housing at this time. WIYV does allow licensed service animals on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with an advocate for more information.
