Maria Folsom

Marie is a proud member of a unique group of people who find joy in crunching numbers. For fifteen years, she has worked with several multinational pharmaceutical companies including a position as Accounting Manager with Orient Euro Pharma (OEP) Philippines. Maria came to the United States in 2003 and joined the team at Merck Animal Health as a Senior Finance Analyst. 

Maria actively serves her church and is deeply committed to helping others. She facilitates Peacemaker Seminars, training people to face and overcome personal or professional conflicts. Her future plans are to add financial training, a Money 101 series, along with a Marriage Enrichment seminar. She was the Director of Empowerment Programs when What is Your Voice started in 2014 but has retired from this position. 

She enjoys continental travel, the outdoors, being in front of the camera, is an avid reader, and passionate about her faith. She loves caring for, and spoiling, her favorite Japanese Chen dogs: Miki and Bonzai. Maria is a wife, has an amazing son, stepmother to many children and step grandmother. 

She earned her Bachelors in Accounting from Polytechnic University of the Philippines and later passed the CPA licensure exam. She earned her MBA in Finance in 2011 at Wilmington University in Delaware.
